Theory Communication and Design and Ben Schaffer, Bulletproof Automotive, had an idea about building the perfect reincarnation of Godzilla to celebrate the resurgence of the GT-R name with the R35 GT-R. On behalf of Mobil 1, Schaffer took the idea and went to work, modifying his GT-R so that it would improve the car’s aesthetics and performance. Ben’s motivation was to build a GT-R that would beat whatever Nissan had planned for the upcoming V-spec GT-R, including braking, handling, power, weight reduction, aerodynamics and of course, luxury.

Upon completion of his masterpiece, Ben added something to his GT-R that would excite any JDM enthusiast: exclusive OEM “Midnight Purple” paint, straight from Nissan Japan. This paint is reserved for only for the crème de la crème of GT-R’s that meet Nissan’s top spec requirements and really sets this car apart from the crowd.

The Mobil 1/Bulletproof Automotive GT-R will be the first R35 GT-R in the world to be adorned with the Midnight Purple color scheme, but there are a lot more unique attributes that make this car something truly exceptional. On the exterior, you can’t miss the one-off Carbon Roof and Full Zele Carbon Aerodynamic Package with Amuse Wing, highlighted with graphic design by world famous designer Manabu “Mana-P” Suzuki of MS-R and Option. Under the hood you’ll find performance modifications like a COBB AccessPORT ECU and a Powerhouse Amuse Full Turbo Back Exhaust System helping the extra air exit out the back. Bringing this GT-R to a hault, is an Endless Mono-6 Racing Brake Conversion on all 4 corners while an Amuse Suspension with Electronic Integration, BBS LM Limited Wheel and Toyo Proxes R888 Tires keep the R35 planted firmly to the road.

There are only a few days left until the SEMA show hits in Las Vegas and word about this extraordinary Mobil 1/Bulletproof Automotive Nissan GT-R has been spreading like wild fire. This one-off custom R35 will be on display in the Mobil 1 booth (#25173) next week. For more information, please visit www.Mobil1.com.
