Theory has been working with ExxonMobil to launch the new Mobil 1 Racing Oil. Mobil 1 Racing 0W-20 and 0W-30 are fully synthetic motor oils specifically designed to maximize horsepower in a wide range of race engine applications, including highly loaded flat tappet designs used in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series. Theory Communication and Design and Ben Schaffer, Bulletproof Automotive, had an idea about building the perfect reincarnation of Godzilla to celebrate the resurgence of the GT-R name with the R35 GT-R. On behalf of Mobil 1, Schaffer took the idea and went to work, modifying his GT-R so that it would improve the car’s aesthetics and performance. Ben’s motivation was to build a GT-R that would beat whatever Nissan had planned for the upcoming V-spec GT-R, including braking, handling, power, weight reduction, aerodynamics and of course, luxury. Theory Communication and Design has teamed up with one of the top industry icons, to build a one of a kind Porsche 996 Turbo on behalf of Mobil 1. Vincent Wong, from iForged wheels, is no stranger to building high profile SEMA cars and this year he has taken things to a whole new level.
