Takeda launches with initial applications for Honda, Acura, Scion, Nissan, Infiniti, Subaru and Mitsubishi.
Corona, California, April 6, 2009 – advanced FLOW engineering is proud to announce the launch of Takeda. Takeda will specialize in the development, design and production of premium aftermarket performance products for import vehicles. Based in Southern California with a strong tie to Japanese tuning, Takeda products are designed for the progressive automotive enthusiast that is performance driven. Takeda products will be available today, beginning with eleven products aimed at today’s best selling import vehicles, followed by additional monthly releases.
Flowing from the company’s philosophy of highly engineered performance products, all Takeda products are developed in a state of the art factory by experienced airflow engineers, utilizing digital measuring, rapid prototyping and real world dyno testing for optimal performance and original factory fit and function. All Takeda intakes are built using polished aluminum tubes and featuring an anodized maintenance-free clear coat. Takeda filters are flow bench tested to the highest standards and all intake pipes are computer modeled for maximum efficiency before dyno testing.

Takeda will offer three variants of intakes including: Attack, a cold air series; Retain, a short ram intake; and Link, a combination short ram and cold air intake that can be converted to either style in minutes. Each kit comes with a filter utilizing aFe’s Pro Dry S technology. Pro Dry S Filters feature an oil-free element with deep pleats and superior airflow and filtration at 99.4% efficiency.
To share the Takeda mission, each Takeda intake kit includes a license plate frame, Takeda stickers and an inaugural, gold Takeda key ring. Eleven applications are available now.
